Judge Chevelle Douglas a dynamic and versatile civil litigation attorney. Chevelle discovered her love of law at an early age and garnered her first internship for a high-profile Los Angeles attorney, at the age of 16. She worked on cases involving entertainers, actors, and professional athletes. Throughout law school, Chevelle clerked for seven judges with the Superior Court of Santa Clara, Family Division and helped pro se petitioner’s maneuver through the Family Law Court system. For the past 6 years, Chevelle has owned and operated a boutique family law practice specializing in complex child custody litigation and juvenile court matters. Because of her commitment to the community and unwavering belief in equal access to the Courts, Chevelle also coaches self-represented individuals on how to effectively represent themselves in Court. Prior to starting her practice, she worked at various Atlanta Area law firms, specializing in civil litigation.
Chevelle obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University, in Los Angeles California and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in Santa Clara, California. Chevelle is an avid Atlanta Hawks fan and enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
